Poetic Tea Collection

Dark Brew Tea Collection

Teas that brew darker have been exposed to more oxidation during processing, and include black teas, highly-fermented Pu-erh, Darjeeling, and some oolong teas. They tend to have a higher caffeine content than lighter teas and range from coppery red to amber to dark brown in color.

Light Brew Teas

Teas that brew at a lighter shade have been exposed to less oxidation than darker teas, and tend to have less caffeine than dark teas. Lighter teas include green teas, some oolongs, yellow teas and white teas.

Herbal Tisanes

Herbal and fruit tisanes are not blended with leaves from the Camellia Sinensis tea plant, but rather, from dried fruit and/or leaves from fruit plants, herbs, and flower petals. They typically do not contain caffeine and are an excellent alternative to sugary or caffeinated beverages.
